How Offerpedia collects, uses and protects your information. Last updated: 10 October 2026.

Offerpedia ("we", "us") connects shoppers with neighbourhood stores through rewards, cashback, coupons and stamp cards, and gives stores tools to run WhatsApp loyalty and marketing. This policy applies to offerpedia.org, app.offerpedia.org and the Offerpedia apps.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your mobile/WhatsApp number (used to send one-time login codes), and your name if you provide it.
• Activity: stores you visit, rewards earned and redeemed, stamps collected.
• Store (business) users: name, email, business details, and WhatsApp Business account connection data you authorise through Meta.
• Messages: WhatsApp messages exchanged between a store and its customers through our platform.
• Payments: subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive payment status and identifiers, not your card or bank details.
• Device & usage data: browser type, device, pages viewed and approximate location derived from IP address.

2. How we use it

• To log you in and operate your rewards across partner stores.
• To deliver WhatsApp messages and campaigns that stores send, and login codes we send you.
• To process subscriptions, prevent fraud, and keep the service secure.
• To improve Offerpedia and respond to your messages.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

We share information only with: the partner store relevant to your activity; service providers that help us operate (Meta/WhatsApp for messaging, Razorpay for payments, Amazon Web Services for hosting) under confidentiality obligations; and authorities where required by law.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use only what is needed to keep you signed in and remember simple preferences. You can clear them in your browser settings.

5. Retention & security

We keep data while your account is active and as needed to meet legal obligations. Data is stored on servers in India (AWS Mumbai) with encrypted connections, and access is restricted.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time. See how to request deletion, or email hello@offerpedia.org.

7. Children

Offerpedia is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
